Having opened three franchise centres earlier this year, it’s a period of unprecedented growth for Clip ‘n Climb, with a fourth franchise site set to open this weekend within London’s O2. Joining The O2’s impressive line-up of leisure brands – including roofwalk attraction Up at The O2, TOCA Social, BOOM BATTLE BAR, Oxygen Freejumping, and iFLY Indoor Skydiving – the leader in fun climbing will be located right opposite Mamma Mia! The Party.
Although set within a compact space of The O2, Clip ‘n Climb will bring big levels of fun to the venue, delivering a high impact and eye-catching spectacle with brightly coloured challenges standing at an impressive 10 metres tall – a height matched by only one other centre in the UK! The fun climbing challenges on offer, including favourites such as Stairway to Heaven and the competitive Speed wall, are designed to challenge and excite adventurers of all ages. A traditional climbing wall with six climbing lines and 12 unique routes will also be available on site, designed to suit both beginners and those looking for a challenge. Whether climbers are aiming to conquer their fear of heights, organise the most memorable team building day, set a new personal record, or simply have a blast with friends and family, there’s something for everyone. It’s this inclusivity and depth that makes Clip ‘n Climb appeal to a wide audience, keeping people coming back to climb time and time again.
The inclusion of the heart-pumping Vertical Drop Slide, which isn’t for the faint-hearted, also opens up additional revenue opportunities for the centre.
Clip ‘n Climb at The O2 is the second fun climbing franchise for owner Simon Jobson, who opened Clip ‘n Climb Wandsworth (south west London) in February this year. Jobson is now Clip ‘n Climb’s first multi-unit franchisee, with further plans for more franchise centres in the near future.
“Following the success of Clip ‘n Climb Wandsworth, I have been eager to invest in another centre. When a site became available at The O2 it was a no-brainer, I immediately knew that this would be perfect for Clip ‘n Climb. The team at head office have proven themselves again and have been incredibly supportive every step of the way. I am very much looking forward to the opening and my next Clip n’ Climb business venture,” said Simon Jobson.
With Clip ‘n Climb opening at The O2 on Sunday 20th October, the number of franchise sites is set for further growth before the close of the year, as preparations are well underway for centres in High Wycombe and Northampton.
