Clip ‘n Climb elevates adventure at Selfridges with custom climbing walls!

With audiences captivated by the European Football Championship, Copa América, and Wimbledon finals this week, and the Olympic Games fast approaching, this summer is undeniably centred around sports. There’s excitement in the air and Selfridges, one of the UK’s premier luxury department stores, is joining the frenzy by turning its London, Birmingham, and Manchester stores into sporting utopias. 

In celebration of Selfridges’ 100-year legacy of sporting spectacle, Clip ‘n Climb is thrilled to announce the creation of two impressive custom climbing walls, offering visitors in London and Birmingham the chance to reach new heights and enjoy a unique experience like never before. Teaming up with Los Angeles (USA) based creative studio Play Lab Inc for the climbing wall in London has enabled us to achieve an unparalleled wall design. 

The Climbing Column at Selfridges London

This climbing wall mirrors the aesthetic of Selfridges’ flagship store, reaching a dizzying height of 40 foot. Featuring four climbing lines, the ‘climbing column’ is strategically located within the bustling Edwards Mews at the rear of the store. This will accommodate a high volume of visitors, enhancing their shopping experience with an exciting, physical challenge.

A Colourful Climbing Wall for Selfridges Birmingham 

Clip ‘n Climb has also manufactured a wall specifically tailored to the Selfridges Sportopia theme, featuring vibrant panels and holds in colours such as pink, green, orange, and blue. Standing an impressive 10m tall with four climbing lines, this installation maximises a compact space in the central atrium of the store – allowing many visitors to enjoy the climbing experience throughout the summer.

Clip ‘n Climb Booking System

With nearly 20 years of operational expertise, Clip ‘n Climb has successfully integrated its booking system into the Selfridges website. The branded user interface, in the store’s iconic yellow and black colouring, guarantees a seamless customer experience. Leveraging our strong franchise relationships, Clip ‘n Climb Wandsworth is providing essential staffing support for the Selfridges project.
