Astroball has been launch in Jully in Exeter, UK!
Here is the first feedback that we’ve got from Ian Stocker, Exeter’s Manager:
“Having been the first Clip ‘n Climb centre in Europe, we at Clip ‘n Climb Exeter are now delighted to be the first Clip ‘n Climb to in Europe to reveal the climb ‘Astroball’.
9 giant spheres that appear to be delicately balanced on top of each other. Falling within the ‘medium’ difficulty range this is great for 7yrs and up – although a fair few mini-climbers have shown their skills on it already, with our kids club Rock Stars rising to the challenge! We had been discussing the possibility of a new climb since the turn of the year and really wanted something that carried that ‘wow’ factor – Astroball fitted the bill perfectly!
With the installation date still some time away we started to leak the information with rumours of a new climb. As the time approached we released posters and flyers of ‘Astroball – coming soon’.
For the official launch on the 13th July, a local school was invited to be the first to try the new climb, an event covered by various local newspapers and publications as well as mention on the local radio.
For the first weeks of opening free mini posters were given to all participants to take home with them. It was a great success and despite being closed for the installation, we still recorded our highest ever takings for the month of July, beating our previous best by £7000.
It’s already proving to be a customer favourite and a great addition to our arena.”
